The first draft of her essay was eh. Her mom and I knew it. She had an idea but she had it wrong. We would have never got her around to see the bigger picture , but you did. She came around and took a new angle. You didn't do any work for her but she trusted you all the way with every edit and suggestion. She got other advice but she always fell back to yours - which was right. All of the work was part of one process and the process worked. I know she was a qualified candidate. She did it on her own. But I also know it would not have been possible without you.
